Trupa suedeza de epic power-metal Sabaton a anuntat ca cel de-al 9-lea album de studio, intitulat “The Great War“, va fi lansat pe 19 iulie 2019, sub egida Nuclear Blast Records.
Discul, prin care trupa aniverseaza 20 de ani de cariera, este unul conceptual si a fost inregistrat pe parcursul a trei luni cu ajutorul vechiului prieten si colaborator Jonas Kjellgren. Maor Appelbaum este responsabilul pentru masterizarea albumului in timp ce artwork-ul a fost realizat de acelasi Peter Sallai. Trailerul de prezentare poate fi urmarit mai jos.
Par Sundstrom, basistul trupei, a declarat:
“This is the biggest album we have taken on so far, there is so much depth and story around the songs that we never had before. Expect many surprises as we have tried new things and we also went back in time to a concept we know a lot of you love. The Great War has been created side by side with the Sabaton History Channel to make 2019 the most exciting year in our 20 year history.”
Sabaton este o trupa de heavy metal din Suedia, formata acum 20 ani, ce abordeaza teme lirice bazate pe razboaie si batalii istorice. Pe albume precum “Primo Victoria”, “Attero Dominatus” sau “Coat Of Arms”, temele lirice sunt inspirate din primul si al doilea razboi mondial, iar piesa “Primo Victoria”, “hit-ul” trupei, se bucura de peste 27 milioane de view-uri pe Youtube.
