Dupa o pauza de 5 ani, Alice In Chains a lansat pe 24 august 2018, noul album intitulat “Rainier Fog”. Noul single de promovare, dupa aparitia pieselor “Never Fade“, “So Far Under” si “The One You Know“, este “Red Giant” si poate fi ascultat mai jos.
Succesorul lui “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here” (2013) a fost inregistrat in studioul Henson Studios din Los Angeles cu ajutorul lui Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Trivium, Stone Sour, Deftones, Ghost, Evanescence, Mastodon, Bush, Black Star Riders, Apocalyptica, Korn, Halestorm), cel care a produs de fapt si ultimele 2 discuri ale trupei, si mixat de Joe Barresi (Tool, Quens Of The Stone Age).
Despre noul album, Jerry Cantrell a declarat:
“It’s not that we were keeping it a secret – we just didn’t want to say a whole lot about it until we had something to say. And we certainly have something to say with this one. It’s a fucking strong record.”
