Pe 16 noiembrie 2018, Mark Knopfler va lansa cel de-al 9-lea album solo intitulat “Down the Road Wherever”. Succesorul lui “Tracker” (2015) este disponibil in format standard cd, deluxe, digital si box set si este produs de Knopfler in colaborare cu Guy Fletcher (Dire Straits, Roxy Music).
Dupa aparitia primului single, “Down the Road Wherever”, va invitam sa ascultati mai jos piesa “Back On The Dance Floor”.
Discul a fost inregistrat in studiourile British Grove Studios din Londra alaturi de Jim Cox si Guy Fletcher la clape, Nigel Hitchcock – saxofon, Tom Walsh – trompeta, John McCusker – vioara, Mike McGoldrick si whistle la flaut, Glenn Worf – bass, Ian “Ianto” Thomas – tobe si Danny Cummings – percutie, Richard Bennett si Robbie McIntosh – chitara, Trevor Mires – trombon iar Imelda May, Kris Drever, Lance Ellington, Beverley Skeete si Katie Kissoon la voce.
