Dupa o pauza de 14 ani de la prima lor colaborare de studio, discul “Raising Sand” (2007), care a fost recompensat cu cinci premii Grammy, Robert Plant si Alison Krauss au lansat astazi, 19 noiembrie 2021, noul lor album intitulat “Raise The Roof“.
“Raise The Roof” este produs de T Bone Burnett si contine melodii semnate de The Everly Brothers, Anne Briggs, Geeshie Wiley, Bert Jansch, Merle Haggard si Allen Toussaint. Noul single de promovare este “Somebody Was Watching Over Me” si poate fi ascultat mai jos.
Cei doi artisti au avut printre inviati muicieni precum bateristul Jay Bellerose, chitaristii Marc Ribot, David Hidalgo, Bill Frisell si Buddy Miller, basistii Dennis Crouch si Viktor Krauss.
Dupa lansarea albumului “Raise the Roof“, Robert Plant si Alison Krauss intentioneaza sa plece din nou impreuna intr-un turneu de promovare in 2022.
