“Hostile Defiance”, cel de-al 5-lea album de studio semnat de formatia gemana Exumer (thrash metal) va fi lansat pe 5 aprilie 2019, sub egida Metal Blade Records.
Succesorul lui “The Raging Tides” (2016) este produs de Dennis Koehne (Sodom, Melechesh) iar noul single de promovare, dupa aparitia piesei “Raptor”, este “King’s End” si poate fi ascultat mai jos.
Artwork-ul este realizat de Costin Chioreanu de la Twilight13media (Ihsahn, Sigh, Kataklysm, Green Carnation, At the Gates, Bloodway, Mayhem, Enslaved, Arcturus, Arch Enemy).
Solistul vocal Mem Von Stein a declarat: “We wanted to sonically progress, incorporating more melodic elements in the music as well as more rhythmic variety. We are a lot braver trying to create an up to date and relevant sound that can easily stand alone in today’s thrash landscape without sounding trite or a throwback, and we’re challenging the listener not to get too comfortable with one specific feel, tempo or pace. Our goal is simple: to further establish the band as one of the main German thrash metal acts that began in the 1980’s and are now carrying the torch into the 2020″.
