Formatia canadiana 3 Inches Of Blood a anuntat ca "Long Live Heavy Metal" va fi numele celui de-al 5-lea album al trupei ce urmeaza sa fie lansat in data de 23 martie 2012 prin intermediul casei de discuri Century Media Records.

Discul a fost inregistrat in studiourile Vogville si Profine alaturi de producatorul Terry "Sho" Murray (City Of Fire, Exhibitionists) acelasi care a produs si single-ul "Anthems For The Victorious" lansat in 2011.
