The third festival day was opened by the famous Greek trashers from SUICIDAL ANGELS. After several concerts in Bulgaria, the band had already got a lot of fans here, as well worldwide. Many of the old school trash fans came especially to Kavarna to see only them. The guys created a total massacre and decapitated the frenzy crowd performing mainly songs from their 2010 album "Dead again". "Santify of Darkness" (2009) was presented by "The Pestilence of Saints" and "Apokathilosis". We also heard "Eternal Domination" (2007) with "Vomit on the Cross" and they sent us back to 2004 with "The trial". Separated in two, the crowd was "swallowed" by the "wall of death" several times. With a such tremendous start, the masses were ready to drawn in the dark northern magic of "LAKE OF TEARS".

The Swedish darkness of LAKE OF TEARS embraced Kavarna soon after 7.30 p.m. The quarter formed by Daniel Brennare Mikael Larsson, Johan Oudhuis and Fredrik Jordanius were focused mainly on music from their 2011 album "Illwill". The show started with "Taste of Hell" and "Illwill". "The Greymen" sent us back in time to the "Black Brick Road"(2004). For the true LAKE OF TEARS fans, the "Raven" brought the forgotten taste of classic gothic doom sound presenting the beloved by many album "Headstones"(1995), followed by the "Boogie Bubble" from the "A Crimson Cosmos" (1997). "U.N.S.A.N.E.", "The Organ", "Behind the Green Door" and "As Daylight Yields" brought us back to 2011 and we almost felt the "Forever Autumn"(1999) in high summer by "So fell Autumn Rain" which also could be labeled as the culmination of LAKE OF TEARS show. After this was again time for 2 songs from "Illwill"– "House Of The Setting Sun" and "Out Of Control". "Sweetwater", "Demon You/ Lily Anne" and "Crazyman" elegantly closed this year's set of LAKE OF TEARS in Kavarna. We also must emphasis the outstanding performance of Fredrik Jordanius. His brilliantly performed solos - especially in "The Organ" and "Behind the Green Door", will be long remembered by the fans. And now was time for ARCH ENEMY.

ARCH ENEMY are unique at a live show. Like many other bands, live they sound so perfect that all fans have the feeling that this is some studio recording- with the difference that they can feel and see their favorites only several meters away.

A company of professionals, ARCH ENEMY literally "smashed" our heads. The incredible voice of Angela and her demonic/angelic beauty and her great stage performance, as well the brilliant solos of Daniel, Chris and Michael fulfilled the dreams of many of the metal heads gathered in front of the stage with the only aim to see their idols for a first time in Bulgaria.

The great invasion started with the intro of "Khaos Overture", followed by "Yesterday Is Dead and Gone". "Revolution begins" was the command which gave the start of the most insane head-banging and jumping. "Ravenous" and "My Apocalypse" made everyone's blood boiling to the higher possible limit.

After "Bloodstained Cross", Daniel's drum solo only gave the evidence for his world wide fame and proved the fans his abilities as one-of–a-kind drummer. "Dead Eyes See No Future", "I Am Legend / Out for Blood", "Under Black Flags We March" and "No Gods No Masters" unleashed the primordial powers of the crowd, following the mad rhytm in the death pit in the centre of the crowd.

"Dead Bury Their Dead" set the official end of ARCH ENEMY's set. Under the screams of the frenzy crowd, they got on the scene and started the encore with "Snow Bound"."We Will Rise" and the masterpiece "Nemesis"were the final jewels in the crown of the Tyrant. For many people, one hour and almost 15 minutes weren't enough to feed their eternal hunger for true metal. The exalted fans left the field hoping for a next ARCH ENEMY show in Bulgaria, lasting at least two hours next time.

This was the great end of the third festival day and the festival itself. For many people, KAVARNA ROCK FEST 2011 was maybe the best so far. Perfectly oraganized, with a brilliant crystal sound and a great bands line-up, it won many hearts with its unique ambience and high professionalism and succeed to gather people from all surrounding countries of Bulgaria, but also from other distant places.
