Un show excelent si o organizare perfecta - acestea sunt cuvintele care ne vor aminti de concertul si filmarea DVD-ului Hypocrisy din Sofia.

Totul a inceput vineri, 26 Februarie, cand Hypocrisy au fost prezenti in studiourile radio Z-ROCK. In timpul emisiunii, Peter a invitat toti fanii pregatiti pentru a-i vedea sa participe la repetitia generala din clubul Blue Box. Promoterii de la Most Of Evil au organizat in aceeasi seara Meet & Greet Before
Party cu trupa, la orele 9 pm, in cel mai cunoscut metal club din Sofia – Black Lodge, pentru cei care au dorit sa vorbeasca si sa faca poze cu suedezii.

Dupa petrecere, reporterul RockStage a reusit sa-i adreseze lui Peter Tagtgren cateva intrebari, prima dintre ele fiind: de ce Hypocrisy a ales sa-si filmeze DVD-ul in Sofia. Raspunsul lui Peter a fost scurt, simplu si precis: " Pentru ca suntem nebuni". El a mai vizitat capitala Bulgariei in Aprilie 2009 cu Pain si a fost impresionat de publicul de aici, asa ca a decis ca este locul ideal pentru realizarea viitorului DVD. Peter nu a putut sa-si ascunda zambetul fiind intrebat care sunt amintirile sale despre fanii din Romania, pe care i-a intalnit anul trecut la ARTmania, cu Pain. Mr. Tagtgren a spus ca i-a placut foarte mult festivalul si ca ar fi minunat sa poata sa cante din nou pentru romani.

Urmatoarea intrebare se refera la cel mai important capitol pentru fanii romani: Hypocrisy planuieste un concert in Romania in acest an? Surprins, el a raspuns ca niciun promoter roman nu a venit cu vreo propunere. Altfel spus, ei ar fi foarte incantati sa cante la noi in tara.

Si a sosit si ziua cea mare, cu o multime de oameni care s-a strans in fata clubului Blue Box, incercand sa intre primii pentru a obtine un loc in primul rand, chiar in fata scenei, cat mai aproape de celebrii muzicieni.
Concertul a inceput la 8.20 pm. Un intro in forta, simbolurile ce se reflectau din lumina difuza si luminile rosii de pe scena au creat un ambient mistic, iar din intuneric, Hypocrisy, cu Peter Tagtgren capul rautatilor, in compania tobarului Horgh de la Immortal, Mikael Hedlund si chitaristul de turneu Tomas Elofsson de la Sanctification, au invadat scena Blue Box, cu sunetul nimicitor de la "Valley of The Damned", introducand apoi multimea in "A Taste of Divinity", ultimul lor album, prezent prin piesa "Hang Him High". "Fractured Millenium" a dus publicul inapoi in timp in 1999, urmata de "Adjusting the Sun" de pe "Final Chapter" din 1997, sarind mai apoi in 2004, cu "Eraser" de pe "The Arrival". "Pleasure of Molestation", "Osculum Obscenum" si "Penetralia" de pe primele albume Hypocrisy au incins audienta pentru "Apocalypse" si "The Fourth Dimension". Killing Art", "A Comin Race" au avut un efect demential, in timp ce steagurile Bulgariei si ale Suediei fluturau, alaturi de bannerul cu Hypocrisy. Apoi suedezii ne-au teleportat in 2005 si albumul "Virus" s-a facut auzit prin "Let The Knife Do The Talking", dupa care am revenit in 2009, "Weed out the Weak" si "Fire in the Sky" fiind alese pentru a marca sfarsitul acestui incredibil show.

Dar fanii nu si-au lasat trupa favorita sa plece asa usor. Toti scandau Hypocrisy si, dupa un timp, acestia au reaparut pe scena, iar bisul a inceput cu "The Final Chapter", urmand "War-Path" si ultima piesa, "Roswell 47", punctand retragerea definitiva a trupei.

Dorim sa multumim in mod special organizatorilor de la Most Of Evil. Din nou, acestia au dat tot ce-i mai bun pentru acest eveniment. Fara intarzieri sau alte probleme, totul s-a desfasurat asa cum a fost anuntat.


Hypocrisy - Live In Bulgaria

An exquisite show and perfect organization-this is what will be remembered about HYPOCRISY DVD filming gig in Sofia this February.

Everything started on Friday, February 26th, when HYPOCRISY were guests in the studio of Z-ROCK radio. During the radio show, Peter invited all fans who were willing to see HYPOCRISY, to attend
their general repetition at "Blue Box" club. The promoters from MOST OF EVIL organized Meet & Greet Before Party with the band, which started at 9 p.m. the same evening in the most popular metal club in Sofia-the cult "Black Lodge". Everyone could go, talk and take pictures with the guys from HYPOCRISY.

At the Before Party, ROCKSTAGE managed to ask Peter Tagtgren several questions, as the main question was why HYPOCRISY decided to film their DVD in Sofia. The answer of Peter was short, simple and exact: "Because they are crazy". He was in Sofia in April 2009 with PAIN, and got impressed by the crowd. So he decided to film HYPOCRISY's next DVD Peter couldn't hide his smile when ROCKSTAGE asked him what were his memories about the Romanian public, who he met last year in Sibiu with "Pain" at ARTMANIA. Mr Tagtgren shared that he loved the event and would be very great if they could perform for the Romanian fans again. Next question was maybe the most important for all HYPOCRISY fans in Romania: "Are HYPOCRYSY planning any concerts in Romania this year?", he surprisingly responded that no Romanian promoters had made any proposals yet.. Otherwise, they would love to come and play for their Romanian fans.

The concert day came and all the people began crowding in front of the BLUE BOX club, trying to get to the first line, directly in front of the stage, to be as close as possible to their idols.
The concert started at 8.20 p.m. The enthralled intro,the glowing symbols in the dusk and the blue-red lights on the scene created a mystical ambience and under the cover of darkness HYPOCRISY lead by Peter Tagtgren, in the company of the drummer Horgh from the cult black metal band "Immortal", Mikael Hedlund and the tour guitarist Tomas Elofsson from SANCTIFICATION invaded the Blue Box scene with the merciless blast of "Valley of the Damned" ,getting the crowd ready for "A Taste of Extreme Divinity", their latest album, so well presented also by "Hang Him High". "Fractured Millenium" brought the fans back to 1999, followed by "Adjusting the sun" from the cult "Final Chapter" from 1997, then jumping to 2004 with "Eraser" from "The Arrival". "Pleasure of Molestation", "Osculum Obscenum" and "Penetralia" from the early, first ?nd the second, HYPOCRISY albums prepared the mad crowd for the "Apocalypse" and the "The Fourth Dimension". "Killing Art", "A Coming Race" made the crowd insane, at some moment the Bulgarian and the Swedish flags were up , together with a banner named HYPOCRISY. Then the Swedish machine teleported us back to the near 2005 and the album "Virus" with"Let The Knife Do The Talking" and then jumped back to the latest 2009 album, performing "Weed out the Weak". "Fire in the Sky" was chosen to mark the end of this brilliant show.

The crowd didn't intend to let their idols go so easily. All the people were scanding "HYPOCRISY" and after a while, the guys came back on the scene and the encore began with "The Final Chapter", after that they took the fans down the "War-Path" and finally lead them to "Roswell 47" which marked the end of this incredible show.

We want to give our special thanx to the promoters from MOST OF EVIL. Once again, I want to say, that the organizers did their best. No delays, no problems, everything started smoothly at 8.20 sharp, as previously announced.
